Come, Lord Jesus, Come _SSA /_SAB

A beautiful Advent Carol depicting the encounter between the angel Gabriel and the Virgin Mary when she was told of her forthcoming motherhood of Jesus the Saviour. Set in a minor key, to show Mary’s initial fear and concern, this piece is in the classic verse and refrain form. The refrain iterates the call for Jesus to come, using the Aramaic term, “Maranatha’. This piece was written initially intended for children’s voices, but may be sung by adult choirs, with a SAB version available as well.
